Who it's for
Landlords who need paperwork for a rental, buyers checking a new home, and owners of older properties.
Based in Bristol, serving homes and businesses within a 40‑mile radius.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is an inspection and test of the fixed wiring in a property. We carry out the inspection, explain what we find and give you a written report.
£50 per board + £25 per circuit

An EICR looks at the condition of a property's fixed electrical installation: the consumer unit, wiring, sockets, switches and lighting circuits. It's an inspection and test of what's there, not an installation of anything new.
Landlords use EICRs for rental properties and HMOs. Buyers use them to understand the wiring in a home they're moving into, and owners of older properties use them to check the condition of an installation that hasn't been looked at for a while.
To prepare, make sure we can get to the consumer unit and into each room. Parts of the power will be off during testing, so it helps to know in advance about anything that shouldn't be switched off.
If the inspection identifies issues, we explain what we found and quote any remedial work separately. Nothing is carried out without your agreement.
