Electrician testing circuits for an EICR

Landlords in England need an EICR for their rental properties. A typical job is a one-bed flat with a single board: we arrange access with the tenant, test each circuit and send the report afterwards.

What the codes mean

  • C1 — danger present, made safe straight away
  • C2 — potentially dangerous, needs fixing
  • C3 — improvement recommended
  • FI — further investigation needed

How we price it

EICRs are £50 per board plus £25 per circuit. One board with 8 circuits is £250.
