Electrician rewiring a Georgian room in Bath with floorboards lifted

Bath's Georgian and Victorian homes are beautiful, and often have wiring that's been patched many times. The aim with a rewire here is simple: make it safe without spoiling what makes the house special.

How we plan it

  • We lift floorboards carefully and number them so they go back in place
  • Cable routes avoid cornicing, panelling and original plaster where possible
  • We agree socket and switch positions with you before any chasing
  • Listed buildings may need approval first, so check with the council before work starts

Standard pricing is for white plastic fittings. Metal or period-style fittings cost more and can be quoted for when we visit. See our rewires page.
